I’ve always been both fascinated by the paranormal, and drawn towards the faraway lands of Polynesia. And tikis, humanoid carvings representing mystical elements of Polynesia, are emblematic of bonds between humans and nature, the heavens and earth. To me, the tiki serves as a symbol of exploration — of both this world, and worlds beyond (and can be a good luck charm).
